Tesla and X proprietor Elon Musk are milling the suggestion of having a “ noble ” debate rather of a pen fight with Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
A post on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, suggested the idea of a pen match debate, to which Musk responded, “ That sounds like a good idea too. ”
“ This is really fighting( I believe) a noble sport, ” he wrote. “ We also hope, with modesty, to express our admiration for those who have fought before for noble causes. ”
The eventuality for a pen match between to the two tech billionaires began in June when Musk said he was “ up for a pen match if( Zuckerberg) is, ” while responding to a post about vestments, Meta’s new volition toX. Zuckerberg responded, writing, “Shoot Me position, ” in an Instagram story.
Since also, the two tech CEOs have gone back and forth on social media with apparent teases of the pen fight.
Musk said Sunday that the implicit pen match would be live-streamed on X, and all proceeds with go to charity for stagers. Zuckerberg mocked the advertisement, writing on vestments, “ Shouldn’t we use a further dependable platform that can actually raise plutocrats for charity? ”
Zuckerberg suggested Aug. 26 as the date for the fight when Musk first challenged him, but it has not been verified; the Meta CEO said he was “ not holding( his) breath. ”
